Disclosure – “You Used to Hold Me (Live)”

Without a doubt, Disclosure were my favorite new act to emerge in 2012. A duo of teenage brothers in the UK, everything about their sound was perfect, a distillation of everything great that’s been going on in dance music across the pond, taking on bass, garage, post-dubstep, and nostalgic ’90s pop in one digestible package. They’re proven to be equally unstoppable with their latest single featuring AlunaGeorge, and it’s not a stretch to say that their upcoming debut album is one of the year’s most anticipated.

In the meantime, though, the rad folks at Yours Truly have debuted a good chunk of the song “You Used to Hold” me in addition to a brief interview with the kids. Filmed during their gig at Brooklyn’s Glasslands Gallery (while I was, ironically, in the UK myself), this should push you over the edge to check out gig at the Music Hall of Williamsburg or at SXSW next month. Check the new track out below.
